SEO Specialist

Role & Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement SEO strategies to boost organic traffic for news websites.

· Conduct keyword research and optimize headlines, meta descriptions, and article content for search engines.

· Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.

· Optimize site structure, internal linking, and page speed for improved search rankings.

· Work with content writers to ensure SEO-friendly news articles.

· Stay updated with Google’s algorithm changes, Core Web Vitals, and news-specific SEO trends.

· Monitor search rankings, traffic, and engagement to refine SEO strategies.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.

· Minimum 1 year in SEO, preferably for news/media websites

· Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.

· Experience with news-specific SEO, including Google News optimization.

· Understanding of on-page and off-page SEO, link-building strategies, and content optimization.

· Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure optimization.

· Knowledge of AI-powered SEO tools and automation strategies.

• Familiarity with WordPress and other CMS platforms.
