SEO Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist to grow organic traffic, improve keyword rankings, and drive high-intent users to our fitness app. This role focuses on content SEO, on-page optimization, and keyword strategy to support app downloads, subscriptions, and long-term user growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and app installs
• Perform keyword research for fitness, workouts, nutrition, and health topics
• Optimize blog content, landing pages, and app-related pages for SEO
• Work closely with content writers to create SEO-optimized articles
• Optimize on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links)
• Improve topical authority and semantic SEO across the website
• Monitor rankings, traffic, CTR, and conversions
• Conduct competitor and SERP analysis
• Identify content gaps and new keyword opportunities
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams for growth initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience
• Strong knowledge of on-page SEO, content SEO, and keyword mapping
• Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC, GA4)
• Understanding of search intent and user-focused content
• Ability to optimize long-form, mobile-friendly content
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of technical SEO fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fitness, health, or wellness niches
• Experience with app SEO, ASO, or conversion-focused SEO
• Knowledge of AI-assisted content workflows
• Familiarity with E-E-A-T and Google Helpful Content updates
• Experience optimizing content at a 6th-grade readability level

• Organic traffic growth
• Keyword rankings (top 3 / top 10 positions)
• Click-through rate (CTR)
• App installs and sign-ups from organic traffic
