Mid-West Family Madison is looking for a data-driven SEO/CRO Specialist to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve our search engine rankings and conversion rates. Your role will involve both technical SEO and on-page optimization, along with improving the user journey to maximize lead generation and customer acquisition through Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). Job Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy & Execution
- Perform keyword research & analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth
- Optimize on-page content, metadata, and URL structure to align with SEO best practices
- Conduct technical audits and resolve issues such as page optimization, crawl errors and mobility usability
- Monitor and analyze search engine performance, ranking, and traffic trends using tools like Google Analytics, Search Consoles, and SEO platforms
- Collaborate with our strategy team to implement SEO-friendly content
- Manage tracking, testing and reporting for search campaigns
- Monitor and report web traffic and source analytics against KPIs
- Set up clients’ Google account, analytics, my business and search console, Bing Places, webmaster tools, etc.
- CRO Strategy & Execution
- Analyze website performance, customer behavior, and user journey to identify drop-off points and optimization opportunities
- Design and run A/B and multivariate tests to improve user experience, landing pages, and conversion funnels
- Create data-driven hypotheses for improving key metrics (conversion rates, bounce rates, etc.)
- Collaborate with design and development teams to implement CRO recommendations and improvements
- Reporting and Analysis
- Track and report on the performance of SEO and CRO efforts, providing insights and actionable recommendations (internal and client-facing)
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends, algorithms, and tools in SEO and CRO
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, CRO Specialist, or similar role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz)
- Experience with A/B testing, UX/UI best practices, and CRO tools (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely, Hotjar)
- Proficiency in website analysis and performance optimization
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic knowledge of JavaScript a plus!
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) is a plus
