Intellibright, a high-performance digital marketing agency and Google Partner, is seeking an experienced SEO Contractor to lead technical and content-focused SEO initiatives across client websites. This role is perfect for someone who is part strategist, part problem-solver—able to identify technical challenges, uncover growth opportunities, and execute hands-on optimizations.
You'll work directly in WordPress, leverage industry-leading SEO tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams—including content, development, and strategy—to improve organic visibility, site performance, and rankings. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can translate technical insights into actionable recommendations that drive measurable growth.
What You'll Do
Technical SEO:

Audit websites for crawlability, indexation, site speed, Core Web Vitals, schema, and other technical issues

Troubleshoot and resolve SEO errors, including broken links, canonical issues, and redirect chains

Optimize site architecture, internal linking, and taxonomy for maximum crawl efficiency

Implement structured data and ensure compliance with Google guidelines
Drive Content SEO:

Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify organic growth opportunities

Develop content briefs and optimization recommendations to improve visibility

Optimize on-page elements including titles, meta descriptions, headers, schema, and internal linking

Collaborate with writers and editors to ensure content aligns with SEO best practices
Analyze & Report:

Monitor organic performance, traffic, and engagement using GA4, GSC, and SEO tools

Provide actionable insights to improve rankings, visibility, and user experience

Develop SEO roadmaps based on business priorities
Requirements
What We're Looking For

3+ years of SEO experience, with both technical and content expertise

Strong proficiency in WordPress; able to implement technical and on-page optimizations directly

Experience with tools such as Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, and PageSpeed Insights

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript as it relates to SEO

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
