Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patrons enjoy their dining experience, from taking orders to serving food and beverages with a smile.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus, providing detailed information about menu items and specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
• Upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any needs or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines during food preparation and service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and effective communication regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure efficiency without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately are essential.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
• Experience in upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience is beneficial.
