Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, with proficiency in basic math
• Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation practices
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
• Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to foster a welcoming environment

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability in customer service, guest relations, and upselling techniques
• Experience with food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during high-volume shifts
• Knowledge of food handling, food preparation, and basic math for accurate cash handling and billing
• Serving or host/hostess experience is a plus for providing exceptional guest services in lively environments
