Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems TOAST, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
• Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and ensuring cleanliness to promote a welcoming atmosphere
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed in fast-paced environments like fine dining or nightclubs
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Collaborate with team members including host/host staff to deliver seamless service from greeting to farewell

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclubs is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and team members alike
• Basic math skills for cashiering duties, including cash handling and making change accurately
• Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Experience with upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
• OpenTable familiarity is beneficial for managing reservations seamlessly
