Position Overview

We are seeking a Service Engineer – Marine Automation with hands-on experience to support automation systems onboard vessels. The role involves troubleshooting, servicing, and upgrading automation systems, ensuring smooth vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair Electrical & Automation (E&A) equipment onboard vessels.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Service and calibrate field instruments (transmitters, positioners).
• Perform retrofit and upgrade projects for automation systems.
• Handle unplanned maintenance to restore operations promptly.
• Maintain service logs, provide technical support, and conduct QA checks.
• Identify sales opportunities during service jobs.
• Coordinate with managers and the operations team for vessel schedules.
• Support technical managers with training, solution design, and estimations.

• Gas & Fire Alarm Systems
• ODME, 15ppm Bilge Alarm
• PAGA System
• Thruster Controls
• PMS & AMS
• Auxiliary Engine Synchronization

Candidate Profile

Education: Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Automation.
Experience: 2–3 years (Marine Automation experience preferred).
Other Requirements:

• UAE Driving License (advantageous).
• Immediate availability preferred.
