Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager – Marine Automation to lead automation projects and provide hands-on technical expertise onboard vessels. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of marine automation systems and a proven ability to manage teams and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical automation projects for maritime applications.
• Conduct field service visits onboard vessels for installation, troubleshooting, and customization of automation systems.
• Troubleshoot PC-based control and monitoring systems, including boiler controls and associated field instruments.
• Perform network equipment analysis, configuration, and installation.
• Manage power management system operations and electrical troubleshooting.
• Provide mentorship and technical training to service engineers.
• Develop and customize software using PLC and SCADA systems, including mimic panel preparation.
• Execute retrofit and upgrade projects for existing automation systems.

Candidate Profile

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Experience:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in marine automation systems.
• Knowledge of Lyngsoe products is an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in marine automation, control systems, and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software.
• Skilled in MS Office for documentation, reporting, and project planning.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal).
• Customer-focused and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong team player with leadership qualities and creative problem-solving skills.
