Role Summary
The SET Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the preparation and submission of new business within both the risk management and wealth management sectors. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and proactive communication to ensure the smooth processing of applications from submission to completion.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team, ensuring seamless business execution while supporting advisors and clients through the financial services process.
Role Responsibilities
- Create and maintain new client households in the CRM database.
- Submit applications for accounts and policies across multiple product lines.
- Track and follow through on underwriting requirements and case progression.
- Monitor and confirm asset transfers to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct daily reviews of cases, addressing NIGO (Not In Good Order) updates as needed.
- Proactively engage with producers to provide business tracking updates and resolve outstanding items.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in case management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance and audit requirements.
- Maintains professional attitude
- Back up team members as needed, if applicable.
- Complete other duties as assigned by Producer/Supervisor.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two (2) or more years of experience in an administrative, client service, operations, or
- office support role
- Strong proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technology, system updates, and process
- changes with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and
- professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a professional services environment (financial services, legal,
- insurance, or similar)
- Familiarity with CRM systems, document management tools, and task management
- platforms
- Experience supporting client-facing professionals or teams
- Interest in technology-enabled processes and continuous improvement

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
