Set Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative set concepts based on project requirements, scripts, and visual briefs.
• Create detailed sketches, mood boards, layouts, and 3D designs for approval.
• Collaborate closely with directors, production managers, cinematographers, and art teams.
• Plan and execute the design, construction, and decoration of sets for indoor and outdoor shoots.
• Source materials, props, furniture, and décor items within the project budget.
• Oversee set assembly, installation, and dismantling while ensuring safety standards.
• Manage on-set changes during the shoot and coordinate with the technical team.
• Ensure the final set aligns with the brand, theme, and visual expectations.
• Maintain a record of props, inventory, and production materials.

Requirements

• 1.5–2 years of experience in a production house, film, TV, advertising, or media environment.
• Strong creative visualization and understanding of design principles.
• Knowledge of materials, props, lighting elements, and set construction methods.
• Proficiency in design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, or similar).
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with thematic sets for commercials, photo shoots, or video production.
• Understanding of camera framing, colour coordination, and aesthetic styling.
• Ability to stay updated with new design trends and materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
