Key Responsibilities

  • Shawarma Preparation: Marinate, cook, and grill a variety of meats (chicken, beef, lamb) using authentic and traditional methods.
  • Sauce and Condiment Preparation: Prepare authentic sauces such as garlic sauce (toum) and other condiments and fillings.
  • Assembly: Assemble shawarma sandwiches, wraps, and platters with consistent portioning, presentation, and quality.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen, and ensure all food is cooked and stored at proper temperatures.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage ingredient stock levels and promptly inform management of restocking needs.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all menu items meet the restaurant’s high standards for taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations: Work efficiently under pressure, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in preparing and grilling shawarma.
  • Strong knife skills and ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in marinating meats and preparing traditional Middle Eastern recipes.
  • Preferably with UAE experience.
