Shift Coordinator (International Voice Processing)

Care Circle is looking for a reliable, organised and confident Shift Coordinator to join our operations team. This role is suitable for someone who can manage daily shift coordination, communicate clearly with staff, support service delivery, and ensure that all operational tasks are completed efficiently.

The Shift Coordinator will act as a key point of contact between care staff, management and other relevant parties during their shift. The role requires good communication skills, attention to detail, confidence in using scheduling systems, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff shifts and ensure all shifts are covered appropriately.
  • Communicate with care staff regarding bookings, availability, changes and updates.
  • Support the daily operation of shift scheduling and rota management.
  • Monitor attendance, cancellations and last-minute changes.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to staffing issues during the shift.
  • Liaise with management and relevant team members to resolve operational concerns.
  • Ensure information is accurately recorded on scheduling or operational systems.
  • Support staff with queries and provide guidance where required.
  • Maintain professional communication with internal and external contacts.
  • Help ensure service standards are maintained at all times.
  • Escalate urgent concerns to the appropriate manager when required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Confidence in coordinating staff and managing daily operational tasks.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
  • Good computer skills and ability to use scheduling tools or operational systems.
  • Previous experience in shift coordination, staffing, healthcare, recruitment, customer service or operations would be an advantage.
