The Shift Leader – Barista is responsible for supervising daily store operations during their shift, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining product quality, and supporting the barista team. This role combines hands-on barista work with leadership and operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and motivate barista staff during the shift.
- Delegate tasks, manage workflow, and ensure team productivity.
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching for baristas.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure excellent customer experience at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Barista Duties:
- Prepare coffee and other beverages according to company standards.
- Maintain quality control and presentation for all drinks and food items.
- Operational Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, maintained, and functioning properly.
- Oversee shift opening and closing procedures.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards are maintained.
- Comply with company policies and local regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience as a barista with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and café operations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:

Pay: KD300.000 - KD350.000 per month
