About the role:

To ensure that the Almarai Fleet repair and maintenance and asset management are carried out within the agreed plan and as per vehicle recommendation of the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines within budget constraints in a safe and compliant manner through a leadership style that promotes continuous improvement and team engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Promote Best Practices: Establish, maintain, and continuously improve operational practices within your area of responsibility by leading through example and ensuring safety remains the top priority in all activities.
• Optimize Workforce Management: Directly manage and allocate manpower resources effectively to achieve operational targets. Motivate the team to meet current and future business challenges and develop a succession plan focused on preparing local employees for key departmental roles.
• Control Operational Costs: Ensure compliance with Transport Operations and Logistics requirements while achieving or exceeding cost-per-unit-kilometer targets and budget goals. Support the Fleet Maintenance Manager in preparing the fleet repair and maintenance budget.
• Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all staff are aware of and adhere to established quality systems and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• 5–7 years of proven experience as a Workshop Manager or Supervisor in a similar environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of SAP systems.
• Expertise in trailer refrigeration systems, particularly modern electronically controlled units.
• English Fluency
