Shift Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shift Supervisor to lead our dynamic team in delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment. As a key player on the management team, you will oversee daily operations, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and motivate staff to provide outstanding customer experiences. Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring smooth workflow and high service standards
  • Lead and motivate team members, providing guidance, training, and development to foster a positive work environment
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality, consistency, and safety compliance
  • Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and perform cash handling duties with integrity
  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to maintain health standards
  • Assist with hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new staff members to build a strong team foundation
  • Support kitchen management tasks such as food production planning and coordinating catering or banquet services when needed
  • Monitor shift performance metrics, address operational issues promptly, and implement solutions for continuous improvement

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service management with culinary experience preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and inventory tracking
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in hospitality management or restaurant management roles
  • Experience with staff training & development, budgeting, and food safety practices
  • Knowledge of food industry standards including food handling, customer service excellence, and kitchen management
  • Prior experience in hotel or catering environments is advantageous but not required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a lively and motivating atmosphere
