Shipping Executive(Apparel )

- Coordinate with freight forwarders for booking shipments (air/sea).

- Prepare and verify export documentation: invoice, packing list, shipping bill, bill of lading, certificate of origin, etc.

- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and buyer requirements.

- Track shipments and update stakeholders on ETD/ETA.

- Liaise with CHA (Customs House Agent) for timely clearance.

#### *Import Coordination*

- Handle inbound shipments of trims, accessories, or machinery.

- Ensure timely documentation: import invoice, packing list, BOE, duty payments.

Coordinate with suppliers and CHA for smooth clearance.

- Maintain records of import duties and landed costs.

#### *Domestic Dispatch*

- Plan and execute dispatches to domestic buyers or warehouses.

- Coordinate with transporters for timely pickup and delivery.

- Prepare delivery challans, e-way bills, and ensure GST compliance.

- Monitor carton labeling, quantity verification, and dispatch accuracy.

Maintain shipping records and audit trails for all transactions.

- Ensure HS code accuracy and export incentives (RoDTEP, DBK) documentation.

- Support finance team with shipping-related data for payment reconciliation.

Coordination & Communication*

- Interface with merchandising, production, warehouse, and accounts teams.

- Communicate with buyers and logistics partners for approvals and updates.

- Resolve discrepancies in quantity, documentation, or carton sequencing.

*Skills & Tools*

- Knowledge of garment export procedures and INCOTERMS.

- Familiarity with DGFT, ICEGATE, and customs portals.

- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and document management tools.

- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Qualifications*

- Graduate in Commerce, Logistics, or related field.

- 2–5 years of experience in garment shipping or export-import operations.

- Strong understanding of textile documentation and compliance norms.
