Key Responsibilities:1. Estimation & Costing
- Review repair specifications, inspection reports, and client requirements to prepare cost estimates.
- Calculate labor hours, material requirements, subcontractor costs, and equipment usage for ship repair jobs.
- Prepare preliminary budgets and final quotations for tenders and direct jobs.
- Ensure estimates are competitive, accurate, and aligned with company cost structures.
2. Technical Evaluation
- Study ship drawings, technical documents, and class survey requirements.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and procurement teams for technical inputs.
- Identify potential risks, contingencies, and special requirements in projects.
3. Client & Tender Support
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders and direct customer inquiries.
- Liaise with clients, surveyors, and classification societies for technical clarifications.
- Participate in negotiations with clients to finalize repair contracts.
4. Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with production teams to validate cost assumptions and post-project cost variances.
- Support project handover with detailed cost breakdowns.
- Maintain an updated database of labor rates, material prices, and subcontractor charges.
- Prepare MIS reports on estimation accuracy, profit margins, and market trends.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
