Shopify developer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to design, develop, and maintain Shopify-based e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Shopify themes, apps, and API integrations, with the ability to deliver seamless, high-performing online store experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Build and maintain custom Shopify apps using Shopify API/GraphQL.
• Integrate Shopify with third-party services (payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM, ERP).
• Implement Shopify Plus features (if applicable), such as checkout customization and advanced scripting.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve site performance across devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create pixel-perfect, conversion-focused UI/UX.
• Ensure best practices in SEO, page speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements to Shopify store

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (3+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Shopify platform, Liquid templating, and Polaris UI.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, React or Vue (nice to have).
• Experience with Shopify REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with Shopify Plus and advanced customizations.
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices, performance optimization, and security.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with headless Shopify using frameworks like Next.js/Remix.
• Knowledge of Node.js or Ruby on Rails for custom back-end services.
• Familiarity with Shopify App Store publishing.
• Hands-on with analytics tools (GA4, Hotjar, etc.).
