Shopify & Graphic Design Specialist (In-Office, Hourly)

Duties

• Develop and customize Shopify e-commerce websites to optimize user experience and drive sales, utilizing skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems.
• Create stunning visual assets including logos, banners, product images, and promotional graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other digital design tools such as Figma and Sketch.
• Design engaging motion graphics and video content with Adobe After Effects and video editing software to enhance marketing campaigns and social media outreach.
• Produce high-quality digital art, illustrations, and photo manipulations that align with branding strategies and marketing goals.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop branding concepts, layout designs, signage manufacturing plans, and print advertising materials that reflect brand identity.
• Manage color management standards, typography choices, and visual design principles to ensure consistency across all digital and print media.
• Assist in UI/UX design projects by creating wireframes, prototypes using InVision or similar tools, ensuring intuitive web interfaces that captivate users.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing for Shopify platforms with a strong portfolio demonstrating e-commerce website customization.
• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW, Sketch, Figma, and InVision.
• Strong understanding of digital art creation, photo manipulation techniques, motion graphics, and video editing workflows.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for customizing website themes and enhancing functionality.
• Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or similar platforms is a plus.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate creative concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• A solid grasp of color theory, typography principles, layout design, sign manufacturing processes, and print advertising standards. Pay: $24.38 - $29.36 per hour
