Shopify / WordPress Expert

Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Expert who can build, optimize, and scale Shopify stores with a strong focus on conversion rate, speed, SEO, and clean store structure. You’ll own end-to-end execution: theme customization, product/collection setup, app integrations, tracking, and ongoing improvements to improve revenue and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage Shopify store: navigation, collections, product templates, filters, and on-site UX.
  • Theme customization (Shopify theme settings + Liquid/HTML/CSS/JS when required).
  • Improve store speed, mobile responsiveness, and core user experience.
  • Product page optimization: images, variants, bundles, pricing, and on-page conversion elements.
  • Implement SEO best practices: meta titles/descriptions, URLs, internal linking, schema basics, and collection structure.
  • Install/configure apps (reviews, bundles, upsells, subscriptions, shipping, currency, etc.) with performance in mind.
  • Set up tracking and analytics: GA4, pixel(s), conversion tracking, events, and reporting dashboards.
  • Support marketing needs: landing pages, promotions, discount logic, and campaign-ready store setup.
  • Troubleshoot issues: checkout problems, app conflicts, theme bugs, and Shopify admin errors.
  • Maintain documentation/SOPs and coordinate with designers, developers, and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and optimizing Shopify stores (portfolio preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Shopify Admin, themes, and app ecosystem.
  • Comfortable with Liquid + basic front-end (HTML/CSS/JS) for customizations.
  • Solid grasp of eCommerce fundamentals: CRO, customer journey, merchandising, and AOV strategies.
  • SEO fundamentals for Shopify (technical + on-page).
  • Strong communication, timelines, and clean task updates.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with WordPress (WooCommerce), Custom WordPress Theme Development
  • Experience with Shopify Plus, B2B, or multi-store setups.
  • Experience with email (Klaviyo, Mailchimp) integration.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and advanced event tracking.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
