About Us

Blate Papes is a consumer product brand serving the supplement and kratom community.

We’re not looking for an editor to make videos look “cool.”

We’re looking for an editor who understands that content exists to generate attention, trust, clicks, and sales.

Our founder already creates content that performs. His videos regularly generate millions of views after only a few minutes of filming. Most common view count is between 50-500k.

The bottleneck is editing.

Your job is to take raw footage and turn it into high-performing short-form content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

What Success Looks Like

Within 60 days, we want to scale content output from approximately:

30 videos per month → 90–120 videos per month

without increasing the founder’s workload.

You’ll become the production engine that allows that to happen.

ResponsibilitiesEdit Short-Form Videos

Turn raw footage into platform-ready content for:

Add Captions

• Clean, readable subtitles
• Emphasis on key phrases
• Fast pacing
• Mobile-first viewing experience

Improve Retention

You’ll be expected to:

• Tighten dead space
• Improve pacing
• Add visual emphasis
• Strengthen hooks
• Keep viewers watching

Create Platform Variations

Instagram:

• Custom thumbnail cover
• Strong frame selection
• Text overlays when appropriate

TikTok:

• Optimized for speed and watch time

YouTube Shorts:

• Proper formatting and sizing

Maintain Content Library

Track:

• Top-performing videos
• Winning hooks
• Proven formats
• Reusable content

What We Are Looking ForRequired

• CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent
• Strong English comprehension
• Fast communication

Deliverables

Typical video:

• 20–90 seconds
• Vertical format (9:16)
• Captions included
• Platform-ready export

Expected turnaround:

48 hours or less after receiving footage.

Compensation

• $15–20 per completed video
• Typical weekly volume: 20–30 videos
• Estimated weekly earnings: $300–600+
• Long-term opportunity for increased volume

Editors who consistently improve performance and reliability will receive priority for additional work.

Hiring ProcessStep 1

Submit:

• Portfolio
• 3–5 examples of short-form content you’ve edited
• Favorite creator or brand you study for editing inspiration

Step 2

Qualified applicants receive a paid test edit.

You will be given the same raw clip as other candidates.

Step 3

We evaluate:

• Did you follow instructions?
• Does the edit fit our brand?
• Is the pacing strong?
• Did you deliver on time?

All test edits are paid.
