The KickBack FC is a growing soccer media platform covering the Premier League, Champions League, La Liga, MLS, and NWSL. Through long-form podcasts and engaging short-form reels, we bring global football stories and conversations to fans from the worlds game.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Video Editor with a passion for soccer and expertise in creating engaging short-form content. The ideal candidate will transform our long-form podcast episodes and video discussions into compelling reels for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Familiarity with Opus Clip is essential, as we use it for clipping, editing, and direct posting to social platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Edit long-form podcast/video episodes into short, engaging clips (reels/shorts).
• Use Opus Clip for clipping, editing, and posting content online.
• Select highlights that resonate with football fans, especially around the Premier League, La Liga, Champions League, MLS, and NWSL.
• Ensure clips are polished, professional, and aligned with The KickBack FC’s brand voice.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and schedule content.
• Maintain organized workflows and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of global football, especially the Premier League, La Liga, and Champions League.
• Previous experience editing short-form video content for social media.
• Proficiency with Opus Clip (or willingness to quickly learn and master the tool).
• Organized, adaptable, and able to communicate effectively.
• Creative eye for storytelling through video.
• Bonus: Experience creating sports-related content or working in sports media.
