Showroom Interior Design Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

We are looking for a Part-Time Showroom Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in our tile and interior design showroom. This role involves administrative support, customer service, and order coordination in a fast-paced, design-focused environment.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with clients, designers, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative & Order Support

  • Manage and maintain records, invoices, and purchase orders
  • Organize and track incoming and special orders, ensuring timely follow-ups
  • Tag and label orders arriving in the warehouse
  • Assist with scheduling deliveries and coordinating with vendors
  • Maintain office supplies and showroom materials

2. Customer Service

  • Greet and assist customers in the showroom with general inquiries and re-orders
  • Answer phone calls and emails, directing them to appropriate team members
  • Provide updates on order status
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional showroom environment

3. Showroom & Team Coordination

  • Coordinate with warehouse and design team to ensure smooth order processing
  • Assist with client add-ons and order updates
  • Maintain showroom cleanliness, organization, and sample displays
  • Support overall daily showroom operations

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative or customer service experience (design/showroom experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); QuickBooks a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Part-time: Approximately 24–32 hours per week
  • Must be available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays
  • Day shifts ending approximately 6:00–7:00 PM
  • Pay: $22 per hour
  • Potential for growth into a full-time role
