Shuttering carpenter

Position Overview:

We are currently hiring experienced Shuttering Carpenters with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in formwork and concrete structures. The ideal candidate must be skilled in interpreting construction drawings, assembling formwork for columns, slabs, beams, and foundations, and working efficiently as part of a construction team.

Accommodation and transportation are provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Measure, cut, and assemble shuttering (formwork) for concrete pours.
• Build formwork for columns, beams, walls, slabs, and foundations.
• Install supports, bracing, and scaffolding as required.
• Ensure formwork is secure, aligned, and meets safety standards.
• Strip formwork after concrete sets without damaging the structure.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Adhere to safety protocols and worksite regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3–5 years of proven experience as a shuttering/formwork carpenter.
• Strong knowledge of concrete formwork techniques and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• No disqualifying criminal history.
