Duties

• Measure, cut, and install wood siding according to project specifications and blueprints
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and framing to ensure optimal siding adhesion
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete installations
• Read schematics and blueprints to accurately follow design plans and technical drawings
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate smooth workflow on-site
• Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and finishing techniques to achieve a polished look
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed and project deadlines are met

Experience

• Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or remodeling with a focus on siding installation
• Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, roofing, stucco, masonry, welding, tile laying, and metal stud framing is highly desirable
• Knowledge of restoration techniques and framing carpentry enhances versatility on diverse projects
• Prior work on construction sites involving heavy lifting, scaffolding, or roofing is a plus
• Strong understanding of building codes, schematics, and technical drawings related to exterior finishing projects
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced construction environments
