Signage Maker

Responsibilities

· Produce various types of custom signage using materials such as aluminum, acrylic, laminate, etc.

· Fabricate aluminum sign structures, cabinets, and other signage components.

· Fabricate, assemble, and finish acrylic components according to project specifications.

· Operate and maintain shop machinery and hand tools, including CNC machines, table saws, routers, sanders, drills, and panel saws.

· Read, interpret, and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements.

· Prepare products from CNC routers for finishing, including cleaning, sanding, and prepping.

· Ensure high-quality standards in cutting, bonding, and polishing materials, especially acrylics and metals.

· Assemble finished signage products for shipping or installation.

· Coordinate the preparation and installation of signage on-site.

· Monitor and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely communication with sales and production teams.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with company safety protocols.

· Supervise in-house production and oversee installation at client sites when required.

· Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards before leaving the department.

· Assist other departments as workload requires.

· Maintain proper functioning of equipment and ensure scheduled maintenance.

· Ensure all signage is clean, safe, and presentable for clients.

Requirements

· Minimum 2 years of experience in signage fabrication or a related field.

· Proven experience with lightboxes, indoor/outdoor signage, LED, ACP panels, and 3D sign fabrication.

· Skilled in working with acrylic, aluminum, stainless steel (SS), and other metals.

· Ability to produce SS letters, acrylic signs, and various types of letter signage.

· Experience in vehicle branding and site installation.

· Proficient in operating hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, routers, and sanders.

· Knowledge of proper handling techniques for acrylic and metal materials.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements with precision.

· Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

· Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

· Flexibility to assist in other departments when necessary.

· Aluminum welding and CNC router operation experience is a plus.

· Experience working in the UAE signage industry is preferred.
