About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Architect to join a major development in Muscat. The successful candidate will oversee architectural works on-site, ensuring full compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and thematic requirements. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in theme parks, water parks, or large entertainment projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals .
• Supervise on-site works to ensure alignment with design intent, specifications, and building codes .
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams on architectural issues.
• Review material samples, mock-ups, finishes, and façade treatments .
• Ensure effective coordination with MEP, structural, and landscape disciplines .
• Inspect works at critical stages and issue NCRs when necessary.
• Resolve design and site conflicts through RFIs , field modifications, and technical guidance.
• Monitor detailing and quality of themed structures, facades, and architectural features .
• Assess proposed design changes for technical, aesthetic, and functional impact.
• Participate in final inspections, snagging , and handover.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Project Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture .
• 10+ years of experience , including 3+ years working on theme parks, water parks, or major entertainment projects.
• Strong knowledge of international building codes , architectural detailing, and themed design requirements.
• Excellent site coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
