Job Description: Gardening / Design / Landscape Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and creative Gardening/Design/Landscape Engineer to oversee landscape planning, design, implementation, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and public projects. The candidate will ensure that all landscaping activities meet high aesthetic, environmental, and operational standards while complying with Omani regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop landscape design concepts, master plans, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and material specifications for landscaping projects.
• Supervise the installation of soft and hard landscaping works, including planting, irrigation systems, paving, and outdoor structures.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely execution and quality control.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to gardening and maintenance teams.
• Select appropriate plant species suitable for Oman's climate and project requirements.
• Plan and oversee maintenance schedules, including irrigation, pruning, fertilization, and pest control.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and municipal requirements in Muscat.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Propose innovative and sustainable landscaping solutions such as water-saving systems, native plants, and eco-friendly materials.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in landscape design, gardening supervision, or related engineering roles (preferably in Oman or GCC).
• Strong knowledge of plants, soil types, irrigation systems, and local climate conditions.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, etc.).
• Excellent project management and site supervision skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid Oman driving license (preferred).
