Site Cashier – Sand Plant

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Cashier to join our Sand Plant operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily cash transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, handling customer payments, and supporting site administration activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in cashiering, accounts handling, and site-based operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process cash, cheque, and electronic payments from customers.
  • Issue receipts, invoices, and payment vouchers accurately.
  • Maintain daily cash collections and petty cash records.
  • Reconcile cash balances and prepare daily cash reports.
  • Coordinate with the weighbridge, dispatch, and operations teams regarding customer transactions.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Deposit cash collections as per company procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.
  • Support administrative and accounting activities at the site when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Cashier, Site Cashier, or Accounts Assistant.
  • Experience in a sand plant, quarry, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a site-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling high-volume cash transactions.
  • Knowledge of inventory, dispatch, or weighbridge operations.
  • Experience working in construction materials, aggregates, or quarry operations.

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Umm al-Quwain: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
