Site Civil Engineer

Position has responsibility for coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects. Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned engineering work; monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants.

Responsibilities:

• Project engineering schedules and forecasts.
• Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.
• Monthly project status reports and change orders.
• Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects.
• Requires extensive regular contact with assigned project Clients.
• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
• Ensure correct implementation of design at site and resolve technical issues promptly
• Assist in preparing work schedules, manpower allocation, and resource planning
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects
• Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals.
• Budget monitoring and trend tracking.
• Participating in Client/contractor meetings and resolving Client/engineering and management project issues.
• Ensure effective engineering and Client communications.
• Perform certain project management responsibilities delegated by the Project Manager

Qualifications:

a. Education/Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with advance knowledge, obtainable usually through a combination of experience and continuing education.
• Must posses the ability to read and interpret prints/specs, technical writing, and organizational skills.

b. Skills and Special Requirements/Licensing:

• AutoCAD highly desirable.
• Experience in working with multiple discipline projects.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
• Licensed engineer is preferred.
• Background screening includes previous employment, education, criminal history, and driving record verification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED7,000.00 per month
