Site Civil Engineer - Design Consultancy & Supervision

We are seeking an experienced Site Civil Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi office and support construction supervision activities on major projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring site works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards, coordinating with contractors, and assisting the Resident Engineer in delivering projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor civil construction activities on-site.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
• Review contractor work progress and report any deviations or issues.
• Conduct site inspections and verify quality of workmanship and materials.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to civil works.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Assist in reviewing requests for inspection (RFIs), snagging, and project closeout activities.
• Monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance on-site.
• Support the Resident Engineer in contract administration and project coordination

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must be a Abu Dhabi Municipality Approved Engineer and possess approvals/accreditations from other relevant UAE governing authorities, as applicable.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering consultancy and construction supervision.
• Proven experience in site supervision of high-rise, and mixed used building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, standards, and authority requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation systems.
