Site Civil Engineer (Minimum of 5 Years UAE Experience)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Civil Engineer to oversee and manage on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5-6 years of hands-on experience in the UAE, with a solid understanding of local regulations, site management practices, and coordination with consultants and subcontractors.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Supervise and execute civil works at the construction site in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Ensure all activities comply with local regulations (Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, etc.).
• Coordinate with Technical Office Civil Engineer, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless site operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports including progress updates and material usage.
• Monitor site safety and enforce strict compliance with HSE standards.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
• Manage quality control procedures to ensure high-quality construction.
• Plan and manage manpower, material, and machinery on-site.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical input where necessary.
• Resolve site issues and technical challenges efficiently.
• Assist in preparing As-Built drawings and handover documentation.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer
• 5-6 years of experience in UAE as construction site Civil Engineer.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and other software.
• Ability to manage multiple construction projects at various stages of their lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations.
• Competent in assessing, interpreting and presenting survey reports and other critical data for stakeholders and shareholders.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Experience with government authorities like DM, ADM, etc
