Job Overview

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the Supervision of electrical and ELV systems for a variety of construction projects across Dubai. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical components meet local and international standards, contributing to the successful completion of high-quality construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and address any issues that arise during the construction phase.
• Carry out inspections towards installation of electrical and ELV systems performed by Contractor.
• Supervise the work performance of Contractor. Report on project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems, addressing any issues that may occur during installation or operation. Perform inspections and testing to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure that all electrical work adheres to local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including design drawings, technical reports, NCR, Logs such as Material submittal, shop drawing, Authority matrix and compliance certificates.
• Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and other engineers to ensure that electrical systems are delivered on time and within budget. Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Recommend improvements and innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of electrical systems.
• Develop detailed electrical design plans and schematics for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Liaison with authorities towards obtaining all necessary NOC and Drawing approval and track to ensure permanent utility connections are obtained within project time frame.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineering license or certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in the consultancy industry. Experience in large-scale projects in Dubai is highly desirable.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to different project locations as needed.
