Site Engineer - 1 year contract

We are looking for a motivated Site Engineer to support the delivery of a high-profile standing seam roofing project at an airport. The role focuses on coordinating site activities, supervising installation quality, and ensuring timely material availability in line with project specifications and safety standards.

Important: We are only considering candidates with direct hands-on experience with standing-seam roofing systems and insulated sandwich panels. Applications without this specific experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day roofing installation works on site
• Liaise with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely material deliveries
• Inspect materials and installation works and ensure compliance with technical drawings and standards
• Assist with quality control checks and documentation
• Monitor subcontractors' performance and ensure adherence to safety rules
• Maintain delivery logs, inspection reports, and installation records
• Support the Site Manager with progress tracking and issue resolution
• Report any delays, risks, or deviations from design/specification

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in site engineering or site coordination (roofing/steel/façade experience preferred)
• Degree/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Familiarity with roofing/metal cladding systems (standing seam advantage)
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical details
• Strong organization, communication, and reporting skills
• Knowledge of UAE HSE site safety practices

Preferred

• Experience on airport or large-scale industrial projects
• Understanding of standing seam materials and installation processes
• Ability to use site reporting tools (MS Office / project platforms)
