Site Engineer

The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising on-site construction activities and coordinating all aspects of retail projects to ensure execution in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and timelines, both within the Kingdom and internationally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Site Supervision:

Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Project Coordination:

Act as the key link between the project owner, consultant, and main contractor, facilitating clear communication and smooth project execution.

• Project Management Support:

Assist in managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables; monitor project progress and report regularly to the project owner.

• Schematic & Drawing Updates:

Prepare, revise, and update schematic designs and construction drawings as needed using AutoCAD or similar software.

• BOQ Preparation & Review:

Develop, analyze, and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for accuracy and completeness in coordination with consultants and contractors.

• Quality & Compliance Monitoring:

Ensure all site work complies with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations, and meets the client’s quality expectations.

• Retail Sector Focus:

Apply sector-specific knowledge to manage interior fit-outs, MEP coordination, and fast-paced project schedules typical of retail environments.

• Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed project documentation, including site reports, meeting minutes, RFIs, and progress photos; report any discrepancies promptly.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• 1- Good organizational skills.
• 2- Good spoken and written communication skills(both Arabic and English)
• 3-Proactively identify site issues, propose practical solutions, and support decision-making to keep the project on schedule and within budget.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree Civil Engineer
• 5 years (3 years site supervision)
• Retail background is an advantage
