Site Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

· Oversee day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.

• Coordinate with the project management team to review detailed work plans and schedules for construction activities.
• Supervise and provide guidance to contractor, subcontractors, and other on-site personnel.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations and prepare site observation report.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project requirements are met.
• Review and interpret shop drawings, material submittals, and specifications to guide on-site activities accurately.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to procure quotations for construction activities.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work progress, manpower, and materials used.
• Ensure contractor’s compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site.
• Respond promptly to any on-site emergencies or incidents and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues raised.
• Participate in project meetings, providing input and insights to optimize construction processes and outcomes.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that work meets established standards and specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including as-built drawings, operation manuals, and completion reports.
• Prepare Bills and construction specifications required for the project.
• Supervise all interior site works, including labor force management and quality control.
• Coordinate all phases of interior fit-out projects including material management
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• knowledge of BMU / related construction
• Specialize in Luxurious Villa
• 4-5 years of experience in UAE
