Site Engineer

The Site Enginee r will assist the Project Managers / Resident Engineers in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities on the project. The Civil Inspector will participate in review and approval of all submittals by the Contractors and involves in the quality control and quality assurance.

Under the supervision of the Project Managers / Resident Engineer, performs routine inspection monitoring tasks to confirm if proper construction supervision is being performed by others. Inspects various facets of work on the construction site and performs continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Document non-conformance and may participate in determining appropriate resolution.

Job Description:

• Site Engineer Experienced
• Attending and assisting site meetings, coordinating with main and sub contractors, and ensuring information supply to the site.
• Conduct site visits to assigned construction sites and issue the observations in a site visit report format NCR to the Contractor.
• On-site quality monitoring, defects snagging’s inspections.
• Review IFC drawings before issuing to the site
• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Liaising with variety of professionals including architects, contractors and subcontractors
• compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
• resolving design and development problems
• making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety
• assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of project.
• ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
• Performs any other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENT:

• Bachelor Degree Holder (Civil).
• Minimum 5 years UAE working experience of residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments projects in Consultancy firm.
• Knowledgeable in PILING works..
• Technical competence and strong technical background.
• Strong personality and good leadership skills.
• Can manage his own transportation.
