Site Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities related to MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and fitout works.
• Ensure execution of works as per approved drawings, specifications, project schedule, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams for smooth execution of works.
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, BOQ, and project specifications before execution.
• Monitor installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, ELV systems, ceiling, partition, flooring, joinery, painting, and other fitout works.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies at site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship quality and progress of work.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports and update management regarding project status.
• Coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability of materials and manpower at site.
• Attend project meetings with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Identify technical issues and provide practical solutions to avoid delays in project execution.
• Verify completed work quantities and support preparation of measurements and billing.
• Ensure work completion within approved timelines and budget requirements.
• Monitor snagging and rectification works and ensure timely project handover.
• Maintain proper documentation of site activities, approvals, inspections, and reports.
• Ensure all MEP and fitout works are executed in accordance with local authority standards and project requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final inspection of installed systems before handover.
• Coordinate with procurement and store departments for site requirements and material tracking.

Key Skills / Requirements

• Knowledge of MEP systems, interior fitout execution, and construction methodologies.
• Ability to read technical drawings and BOQ.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in site supervision, project coordination, and quality control.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and project documentation.
