Site Engineer

Position Summary:

The Site Engineer oversees the execution of flooring works on-site, ensuring compliance with technical drawings, quality standards, project timelines, and client expectations. This includes coordination with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth installation of flooring systems such as epoxy, vinyl, tile, wood, and raised access floors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise on-site flooring installation activities, ensuring adherence to technical specs and safety guidelines.
• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Coordinate daily with subcontractors, foremen, and labor teams for smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control, proper leveling, surface preparation, and accurate installation.
• Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment needed for flooring works.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, site logs, and submit them to project managers.
• Monitor project timelines and flag potential delays or issues early.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams for inspections and compliance.
• Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Support in preparing As-Built drawings and documentation at project close-out.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 2–4 years of site experience in interior fit-out or flooring projects (epoxy, vinyl, tiles, parquet, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of flooring systems, surface preparation techniques, and application methods.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and basic Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.
• Familiarity with UAE safety regulations and site procedures (if in UAE/GCC).
• must have valid driving license

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of moisture content testing, flatness/levelness standards (e.g., F-numbers), and adhesive compatibility.
• Experience working on commercial and industrial flooring jobs (warehouses, hospitals, offices, showrooms).
• Ability to handle multiple sites or teams, if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
