SITE ENGINEER - CIVIL

1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise and monitor all on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to project drawings, specifications, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate and manage labor, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure timely and efficient work execution.

2. Technical Oversight

• Review engineering drawings and identify discrepancies or potential issues before execution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams and address site-level engineering challenges in real time.

3. Project Planning & Coordination

• Assist in developing detailed work programs and schedules in coordination with project managers and planners.
• Ensure smooth coordination between various disciplines (civil, MEP, structural) to avoid delays and rework.

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Ensure that all construction activities comply with local authority regulations (e.g., Muscat Municipality, DCR, and Royal Oman Police standards).

5. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Implement and enforce strict adherence to HSE standards as per Omani labor and construction law.
• Conduct toolbox talks and promotes a safety-first culture on the job site.

6. Material Management

• Raise material requisitions based on approved shop drawings and monitor the timely delivery of materials to site.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and prevent material wastage.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to project management.
• Maintain site diaries, quality logs, and documentation for audits and client reviews.

8. Client & Consultant Coordination

• Liaise with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities for site inspections, approvals, and progress updates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RO300.000 - RO400.000 per month
