Site Engineer (Civil)

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision & Execution
• Monitor and supervise all on-site construction activities.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Verify setting out and levels at site before commencement of work.
• Coordinate between civil, MEP, and finishing teams.
• Quality & Safety Control
• Ensure quality standards and workmanship are maintained.
• Conduct regular inspections and record observations.
• Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) norms.
• Coordination & Communication
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Attend daily site coordination meetings and update project progress.
• Communicate any technical or material discrepancies to the Project Manager.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain site diaries, inspection reports, material consumption, and labor records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Assist in preparing measurement sheets and bills verification.
• Material & Resource Management
• Check material delivery and ensure it meets approved quality.
• Monitor resource utilization and reduce wastage.
• Ensure timely availability of manpower, materials, and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2–8 years in building construction, hospitality, or infrastructure projects.
• Skills Required:
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings and project specifications.
• Hands-on experience in finishing, MEP coordination, and structural works.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and basic project management tools.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
