Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Site Engineer – Post-Tensioning is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing all post-tensioning works at site, ensuring compliance with approved PT shop drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. The role involves close coordination with PT designers, subcontractors, and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute post-tensioning works for slabs, beams, transfer girders, and foundations
• Ensure tendon layout, profiles, anchorage locations, and stressing sequences are as per approved PT drawings
• Coordinate installation of PT tendons, ducts, anchorages, and accessories
• Supervise stressing operations, check elongations, and verify stressing records
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of PT materials
• Coordinate grouting operations (for bonded systems) where applicable
• Liaise with PT designers, consultants, and subcontractors for technical clarifications
• Ensure compliance with method statements, quality plans, and safety procedures
• Prepare daily progress reports and PT stressing documentation
• Resolve site issues related to PT works and coordinate corrective actions
• Support preparation of as-built drawings and completion records

Educational Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Experience

• 3–5 years of site experience in post-tensioning works( RCC can also apply)
• Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial, or infrastructure projects preferred

Software & Tools

• AutoCAD (reading PT drawings)
• MS Excel & Word (stressing records, reports)

Work Environment

• Full-time site-based role
• Reports to PT Manager / Project Engineer

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
