Site Engineer – Fireproofing Paint

Safety World LLC is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our Passive Fire Protection – Fireproofing Paint Division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on UAE experience in passive fire protection works, particularly fireproofing paint applications on structural steel, and will be responsible for managing site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate fireproofing paint application works on structural steel.
• Plan daily site activities and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved method statements, project specifications, and applicable international standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors regarding site activities.
• Monitor work progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate material deliveries, inspections, and site logistics.
• Resolve technical and execution-related issues at the project site.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower and equipment to maximize productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline (Engineering qualification is mandatory).
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Site Engineer in Passive Fire Protection – Fireproofing Paint projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel and steel structure construction.
• Experience in supervising intumescent and cementitious fireproofing paint applications.
• Good understanding of project specifications, quality requirements, and inspection procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with major UAE contractors and consultants.
• Familiarity with international fire protection standards and inspection requirements.
• Experience handling multiple project sites across the UAE.
