Site Engineer - Fitout

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fit-Out Project Engineer to manage and supervise interior fit-out projects across commercial, residential, retail, and F&B spaces in Dubai. The candidate will coordinate site activities, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain quality standards while complying with UAE regulations and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage interior fit-out projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and authority approvals.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control standards.
• Monitor health & safety compliance on site.
• Coordinate with MEP teams (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Manage material procurement and delivery schedules.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support and solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered within timeline and budget.
• Maintain documentation including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and site reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in interior fit-out projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, retail, and office fit-out works.
• Experience coordinating joinery, gypsum, flooring, ceiling, and MEP works.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical documents.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory) for site visits and project coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Dubai authority approvals (DM, DCD, DEWA, etc.).
• Experience in fast-track fit-out projects.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
• Driving License: Valid UAE Driving License Required
