Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer – Home Automation to manage the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced smart home solutions across residential and commercial projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and according to the highest technical and quality standards while meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate on-site installation and commissioning of home automation systems, including smart lighting, AV systems, climate control, security, and IoT devices.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to evaluate project requirements and provide technical input for system design and integration.
• Ensure all installations comply with project specifications, UAE regulations, and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, installation records, as-built drawings, and system handover documentation.
• Provide technical support and training to clients or end-users on system operation and functionality.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for equipment delivery, installation schedules, and system integration.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and quality standards across all site activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in Home Automation, Smart Home Systems, or Building Technology projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of automation systems such as KNX, Crestron, Control4, Lutron, Savant, networking, and AV integration.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, system schematics, and project documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License and willingness to travel between project sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on luxury residential or high-end commercial projects in the UAE.
• Certifications in home automation systems or smart building technologies.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
