Site Project Manager –Ashghal/ UPDA Grade A

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Site Project Manager to lead project execution in accordance with contract requirements, EGEC quality standards, and HSE systems, while ensuring delivery within the approved budget, schedule, and scope. The successful candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, extensive Ashghal project exposure, and proven consultant-side experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct construction projects from commencement to successful completion
  • Manage project execution in line with contractual, quality, and HSE requirements
  • Monitor project progress, cost control, cash flow, and schedules against approved baselines
  • Coordinate and chair regular progress meetings with project managers and site teams
  • Ensure compliance with Ashghal, local authority, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Review construction quality systems and ensure implementation across all disciplines
  • Coordinate with Project Managers on look-ahead plans, backlog, recovery (catch-up) plans, and critical activities
  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc progress reports
  • Manage risks, change control, EOTs, variations, and claims
  • Act as focal point for project handover from Tenders & Proposals Department
  • Lead scope definition, verification, and control in coordination with the client
  • Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and detailed project programs
  • Mobilize project resources, subcontractors, and equipment effectively
  • Conduct internal coordination meetings with section heads and subcontractors
  • Attend and represent the company in client and stakeholder meetings
  • Ensure timely project close-out with full client satisfaction and compliance
  • Support Quality audits, Business Development activities, and tender inputs when required
  • Coordinate with top management on project strategy, constraints, and execution plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil or relevant discipline)
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience
  • Proven Ashghal project experience (mandatory)
  • Consultant-side experience (mandatory)
  • UPDA Grade A certification (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, contracts, claims, and HSE
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and reporting skills
  • Immediate availability is required
