Site Supervisor

A Site Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations on a construction site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan and budget.

Key Responsibilities

· Project Oversight: Monitor daily activities, ensure adherence to project plans and specifications, and oversee the work of both site staff and subcontractors.

· Safety Management: Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, conduct risk assessments and inspections, provide safety training, and ensure workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate workers and other on-site personnel, assign tasks, and resolve any issues that arise to maintain workflow and productivity.

· Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards, identify potential defects, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

· Resource and Material Management: Monitor the use of materials, control consumption by contractors, and ensure proper placement and functionality of equipment and materials.

· Communication: Liaise with various stakeholders, including workers, clients, architects, engineers, and project managers, providing clear updates on progress and any issues.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate records, take measurements, document work completed, and submit daily site reports to relevant parties.
