Site Supervisor

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Site Supervisor / Foreman with ≈10 years’ experience in fireproofing and protective coating works, especially on structural steel. The candidate must be certified, bilingual (English & Arabic), with valid driving license and a transferable Iqama. He will supervise site operations, ensure quality and schedule compliance, monitor safety, and communicate with management and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate work of site teams applying fireproofing / protective coatings on structural steel and other relevant surfaces.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, relevant codes, safety standards, and approved procedures.
• Monitor and enforce site safety practices.
• Oversee the execution of works by applicators / subcontractors, ensuring quality of surface preparation, application thickness (DFT/WFT), curing, etc.
• Inspect work, identify defects or deviations, issue Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), non-conformity reports (NCRs) as needed.
• Liaise with QA/QC department, client inspectors, third-party inspectors.
• Maintain productivity, ensure deadlines are met, handle schedule issues.
• Travel to project sites as required (sometimes remote / multiple sites).
• Valid driving license: ability to drive to sites.
• Report regularly to management on progress, budget, manpower, material usage, issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in fireproofing works and protective coatings, especially on structural steel.
• Certification: BGAS-CSWIP or equivalent, or relevant AMPP / NACE / SSPC / CIP / BGAS certification. (The candidate must be certified and able to provide proof.)
• Fluent in English (spoken & written) & Arabic (is a plus).
• Must hold valid Saudi driving license.
• Should be residing in Saudi Arabia with transferable Iqama status.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks / sites, prioritize, and solve issues proactively.
• Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, material datasheets.
• Willingness to travel frequently to sites as required.

Desirable / Preferred

• Knowledge of AMPP’s “Fireproofing Inspection Specialty” and related inspection standards.
• Experience working with Aramco / Saudi Civil Defense / clients with stringent fireproofing & protective coating standards.
• Familiarity with documentation like ITPs, RFIs, material approvals, site safety & environmental practices.
