Role summary

Experienced full-time Construction Site Supervisor to lead demolition and civil alteration works. Responsible for on-site supervision, structural measurements and calculations, worker coordination, and client communication. Role requires flexibility for long shifts and occasional night work.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise demolition and civil alteration activities on site and ensure work follows drawings and specifications.

• Calculate and verify dimensions and quantities for civil structures and temporary works.

• Coordinate daily with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and company workforce to ensure smooth progress.

• Issue work instructions, monitor workmanship quality, and enforce safety and compliance standards.

• Prepare concise site reports, progress updates, and material/measurement records.

• Identify and report structural or site issues; propose practical solutions and get approvals.

• Manage labour allocation, tasks, and on-site discipline to meet schedules.

Required skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.

• Minimum 3–5 years hands-on experience supervising demolition or heavy civil alteration projects.

• Strong knowledge of structural elements, site measurements, and ability to perform basic structural dimension calculations.

• Proven ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings.

• Good communication skills for client coordination and crew management.

• Comfortable with physically demanding outdoor site conditions; ability to work extended hours and nights when required.

• Valid safety training or certifications preferred (e.g., construction safety, CPR) and willingness to follow company safety protocols.

Working hours and conditions

• Full-time, site-based role; available all days as required.

• Typical shifts up to 8–12 hours; occasional night shifts possible.

• Hands-on, physically active work at demolition sites with PPE required.
